Jubilate was a wonderful last concert with the juniors- it was a perfect close to my 4 years in SN Choir. Day ONE was fab because the audience was really responsive and they cheered like crazy and all, and the choir was really enjoying themselves and I didn't feel nervous until I had to conduct, and my alto2s were all telling me not to be scared (: Day TWO was really scary because it was all the adults and they just clapped (boring -.-) and you know that people was out there watching (ahemahem) and you're really nervous. But Denise was a very nice first rower and she held my hand and calmed me down and omg I think we laughed through the entire performance when I forgot my part and did the actions wrongly and all and it was funny instead of horrifying (: And I was beaming and laughing away, which made me really happy. And before the father barre song Shinny was almost in tears and when she hugged me I was bracing myself not to cry but surprisingly, I felt too happy to cry although I cried before the performance, and she and Abby hugged me and told me to not be nervous for conducting (although I still was, but they were very sweet) And jubilate's finale was a beautiful close, and immediately after the curtains closed we all cheered and Kai Yin started crying immediately :/ Gosh I will really miss my juniors so much, Denise, Shinny, Ying Tong, Hazel, don't be sad ok, there's still two more practices and farewell!
The end comes so fast, and I finally understand what all the seniors said in the past to treasure your time in SN Choir, because although we have #$%$^$#@ people like (ahemMOLLYahem), but it becomes such a big part of your SN life that it seems kinda empty without it, though you're thinking 'finally, time to study after school'. And of course all the wonderful people like ALTO 2s and very sweet bluegreenwhite badges, I'll really miss y'all.
